Hi everybody, I have been for more than two weeks now trying to photograph this Pigeon in this exact pose, but as the title says, this image has a lot of PS work on it as you can see from the RAW file below, still, I know that sooner or later I will get this pose correctly but in the mean time... just fro fun, here's this "saved" image. Hope you like it despite the original shot is preety much worthless :o Enjoy.

Bravo Ramon on your PS technique!! Terrific pose and timing with exposure spot on. Well done. Your effort produced a very pleasing image. I like the spot light effect on the bird.

Great shot and well done for saving it. I see no problem in the PS work you did. I feel this is exactly the way we need to use the modern technology we are so lucky to have.

Fabulous shot Ramon, with or w/o the PS. I always love that foot color on these critters.

Outstanding! I like the blurred background. Did you use a flash to get the spotlight effect on the pigeon?
Your editing of this photo was great. I have no idea how you added the clipped right wing--maybe you pasted in a right wing from another image of this bird? I also am fascinated by the ruffled underwing coverts. I guess this is sort of a "flaps down" technique when this bird lands. I also like the way the eyes and the feet are a similar color.

So bravo Mother Nature and bravo photogapher!

Ramon, just love the flared wingspan, overall sharp, and congrats on the pp work you have done to save the image.

If you didn't post the original RAW screen capture I wouldn't have known what you added or removed so well done on your efforts using PS.

I like the sharpness, pose and spotlight on the bird.
