Hi all,

This is Mr.B, our patriarch EABL, and father of 29 over six consecutive nestings in our backyard nestbox.
We love him way too much to be objective about any photo we take of him.
This is a recent shot, very likely not our best one, but maybe we could make it better:

Hi kenn , lovely bird with nice colours ...the perch seems to be blurred on my monitor, could have stopped down to get better DOF.......TFS

Yes, I think shallow DOF is sure a problem here. Shot in early morning (too little) light with aperture open wide, and I was a bit too close to him also. But still I'd like to keep this shot, so I've tried a verticle crop (to minimize the foreground perch), and done a little selective sharpening to try and even the focus out some.
