This is a most unusual pose, I like it a lot. The light is not bad either!

    Well done Gerrie.

The strong gold light really adds to the zebra's stripped contrast. The head turn and how you composed it works great. The line of the back leads right to the mane up the head and to the eye.

Gerri - This is compelling image, almost as striking as the one you just posted on Avian! I love the line of the back as it almost disappears until your eye adjusts to what is going on. A beautiful animal and beautifully photographed.

The look back with the curl of the mane really make this shot, well composed Gerrie.

Hi Gerrie, the separation of the mane due to the look back pose, creates an interesting effect - different, and it works for me. I like the contrast in this. Well captured.

Gerrie this is one of the best zebra 'abstract' images I've seen. Gorgeous light and details with strong comp. take a bow.
