Default Theme: The drops of Egmount

Phew !!!. Well there was only one end that could be at work this week. I quit !! :D . Had enough and the trade has changed so much after 40 years. Gone are dovetail drawers, in are steel drawers, gone is real cabinet making, enter the world of cheapness, ahh no thanks :). So for awhile I'll do exactly nothing, Ha.

Anyway, Mount Egmount in Taranaki in NZ (nth island), added a frame, my daughters hand with a brush, added drops and a ripple after distorting the image in the bottom. A rainbow effect was added, a couple of beers and a whole lotta fun

    All the best artie ones.

    Danny.

Danny, This is very creative and fun! I love how the image seems to be so dimensional. The hand and it's shadow are a very nice touch. Rainbows are always a crowd pleaser so great job w/ that. Very nice work!!!

I can't believe you quit your job-wow!! Sounds like you have a good plan.

Congrats Danny. Nice to be able to quit, rather than have them give you the news.

Looks like you could have a second career already. Go for it, you will enjoy what you enjoy and maybe make a living doing it. Great image!!!!

Danny, Great creativeness and execution! Good luck with your life ahead! I have just recently become unemployed (not my choice) after 36 years! I hope, for you and I that when one door closes, others open, as they say! Have fun!
