    Katana Gimbal, natural light, almost ff

    Taken last weekend at a workshop in Mass.

    I am sure everyone has had about enough captive birds, and I hope
    to get back to reality soon!

    Sharp image Ray. I like the details in the beak that only a close-up would reveal. Well done as usual!

    Good comp on such a close up in flight. Plenty of detail showing and pin sharp. I'd love to see the whole bird if you got another image as it is truly a beautiful bird. Congrats

    Awesome man, just awesome. Love the way the bird has filled the entire frame. catchlight is a big bonus

    Very compelling image, Ray. The tight composition, and piercing eye contact works wonderfully. Very, very nice!

    thanks for the nice comments, I need to apologize, this bird was not in flight, the falconer had previously watered the birds down, and this eagle was flapping to dry off., a much easier shot then a flight.
