    Default Mac Datalogger/GPS

I have been looking around for small datalogger/GPS units that hang off a tripod or camera strap and then can be used to geotag images. I was wondering what experiences Mac users have with any of these devices?

    Hi Rocky,

I just use a simple handheld Garmin etrex vista hcx. No special research went into the model, it just happened to be cheap when I got it. The key thing is that it will save a gpx track. I just turn it on and stuff it in a pocket or pack and it stores the requisite info all day. There is lots of software available to geotag, I usually use GPSPhotoLinker. It does the job and is even free.
