Default Ahh.........the wind in my hair.

This big Mapula male was taking some time out and relaxing in between mating bouts with his female.

Great shot, Marc - I feel like I was right there with you taking the photo. Really jumps from my monitor. Lighting and color very nice.

Nice profile Marc. He does seem to be enjoying the breeze. Clean shot with a nice BG, good color and nice detail in the mane. Maybe a little bit of a cyan/blue cast in the white beard?

    Marc,

Nice lion, seems quite young and a black mane. Let's hope he can breed and we can get a few nore non-mohican lions in the area. I will be extremely boring and say a little more head turn towards you would have been nice.

With the wind blowing, the looking away head turn works very well here. Nice that we see some of the eye.

Excellent shot Marc. Wonder what he's looking at? Very nicely done.

Like the comp and the way he is looking up. Makes you wonder what he is looking at.

Hi Marc, I like the detail in the mane, together with the glancing away pose. Good to see the eye, and maybe toning down the BG a tad, will make the colours pop even more. Well captured.
