    Hi:

Put this Hawk through Corel Painter 11 with user defined hand painted touches & then a bit of finishing in CS4.

    CC's welcome & appreciated

On second look I should have added more canvas to top, maybe a bit off bottom?

Because of repost limitations I have replaced original with more canvas on top.

This is the original which was also used flipped horizontal in "Elephant Head."

Very nice Uncle Gus. I agree w/ you a bit more canvas at the top especially. I like the painted effect and your original is awesome! Well done. Happy Thanksgiving to you and Gina and Gina's sister Lee!!

wonderful interpretation Gus. Agree about tightness in frame.
For my taste, the contrast is a bit strong for a subject like this

I love it. I think the boldness in color and strokes just makes the bird look even more majestic. I think maybe lightening the lighter part of the eye just a little bit more than you already have would look nice too.

Thanks for looking and all your comments. As more top canvas was top comment and because of one repost limit
Hi Gus, Just got word from one of the big wigs:D Only one post per day and you are allowed to repost that one post-but only once.:) The site has been adjusting the guidelines etc. to keep up with members needs. Not sure if this is a newer rule- but at least we got that cleared up.:p:D:) Denise I have replaced original with more top canvas

    Best regards

Gus, I hope you got my PM. No problem w/ reposting suggested alterations. We would just like to limit it to one re-post of the original. I like the added canvas, just maybe about 1/2 of that amount:eek:
