I love it. I think the boldness in color and strokes just makes the bird look even more majestic. I think maybe lightening the lighter part of the eye just a little bit more than you already have would look nice too.

Hi Gus, Just got word from one of the big wigs:D Only one post per day and you are allowed to repost that one post-but only once.:) The site has been adjusting the guidelines etc. to keep up with members needs.
