A bunch of Double -crested Comorants were all I had a chance to play with today between our never-ending succession of Pacific storms.
These guys are real clowns and actually fun to shoot. This is quite a crop as the birds are offshorre on an abandoned pier. I left the nails in! ;):) and I stopped down quite a bit in hopes of getting an image that I want that has multiple birds--but this was what I got instead. Someday!

Pretty funny, it looks as if he is complaining about the shoddy craftsmanship. Gotta hammer? might be an alternative title :) I like the pose and BG and might crop a bit off the bottom.

Detail/noise look great for ISO 1000. I might lighten the iris just a little.

Nicely done witht he pose. Nice and sharp. I could not quite figure out why the pile cap or stringer in fg was not in focus, then I realized bird is standing on another in behind. Yes, good detail at high ISO and a crop. Good for you. Dave
