Default Theme: Clash of the Clouds

I photographed this cloudscape behind my house earlier this year. In processing, I went for high contrast so as to emphasize the dramatic look of the sky. I converted the image to tritone, added a slight orton effect, added a vignette, applied render clouds on an overlay layer to give it a bit of a grungy look, applied an overlay layer, and applied the dry brush and watercolor filters.

Any comments and suggestions would be most appreciated!

Very nice rendering and effect w/ the grunge look. The image has some good tonal range. The clouds have alot of interest for me w/ the applied filters. Nicely done.

Christopher, the clouds look really nice. And I like the painted look of the trees in silhouette.

    Nice image and application, Christopher.

Been facinated with clouds of late and trying to get a portfolio of them over time. These are very nice example.

Thanks Denise, Cheryl, and Mark. Appreciate the comments!

Mark, I've experimented quite a bit with clouds too. They can be very interesting subjects, especially in B&W!
