This image was on the first day at Fogg Dam NT near Darwin (well 60 odd klms out). This is a top bird spot so anyone visisting Darwin make this a must do item . Bird was using this limb as a staging perch while catching insects.
Under heavy foliage near bird hide at end of dam wall lucky to get a few images that I was reasonably happy with. Not so the Crimson Finches which I could have done better with crayons and paper.

    Enjoy
    Best regards

Nice pose and good color. Nice details. Because of the side light the head is a little dark. The BG is a little distracting on the left.

Hey Rod - It does have a lemon belly for sure. Around here, we call prothonotary warblers lemon drops! Nice image of the little guy. Feather detail looks really good.

Good-looking specimen, good sharpness and eye contact. I would tone down the perch on the left side and a more uniform BG would have made it even stronger.

Thank you all for your comments. Joel : Yes! I agree about the BG, Thanks.
Axel: That sun spot troubled me. The BG I has left as it was as I am still coming to grips with all the bells and whistles at my disposal in PP!! I will gives some BG adjustment ASAP.
    Again
    Thanks

Nice one Rod, not a species you see images of very often. Like the even canopy shade and colour.

    cheers
