    Found this family while hiking in Ridgefield NWR. One of my favorite. not the best image but cute.
    D2X's 80-400vr at 310mm, 1/160 at f/5.6, iso 500 pattern metering W/B auto.

    Fantastic subject, the kind that wins photo contests. Will leave the techs to the pros.

    Hi Craig I like the tech set up for the image, I know the D2x is not the cleanest but noise is easy to get rid off and you made a sharp image !!!

    Cropping wise would take half the trunk on the right and a little on the bottom so there would be more room up top !! For these type using some fill flash sure helps !! Exposure wise you did well balancing the light as much as possible, trunk looks a little over but should be easy fix in PS !!! Love the position of the babies !!! Excellent !!!

    Hi Craig - Agree with AL - a little different crop will bring the attention to your subject more.
    Could be off base here - but on my screen looks a little yellow.

    Great shot, slow shutter losses some detail on mom, but you just walked up on this event, quick thinking.

    Good advise on cropping and maybe work mom's eye a tad, hang this one on the wall - congrats.
