Theme: Sunrise on Merganser in the Cypress
I played with the lighting to emphasize the sunlight coming in, ran an Orton, blended with a little DAP Realism to punch up the colors and then added more saturation and finished with some canvas texture. There were a few little tweaks here and there with dogde/burn and selective sharpening.

I like the texture, the light and the overall mood of this image. It does look a bit busy for me though.

Thanks to all. It was a cold, magical morning at Caddo Lake. The sunrise was beautiful.
Christopher and Desmond, I agree that it is too busy at the top. I'm not quite sure how to fix it, but maybe de-emphasis of the branches by burning them in.
Maybe if you cropped a little off the top Patti it would de-emphasize the busyness? Anyways I like this image.
