    Default Northern Harrier

Another shot from my 10-day shooting spree this month. I shot this at Ft. De Soto Park, Florida in late afternoon light. The first female I've actually seen and photographed there. The winds were high and it was almost hovering as it hunted over the mangroves. Artie was there that morning as well :). I spotted the bird as I was leaving the park and just pulled over and started shooting handheld.

    Thanks for looking.

    Best,

    Jose

I like the soft light and eye contact and might crop a bit off the top and bottom.

    Jose,

Sweet image you made here. Love the eye, nice and sharp and rich color really makes his image. I like this one as is!

Wonderful image, the golden light and head turn set it apart.

Well captured Jose - lovely composition with the head turned nicely to catch the light. The warm tones of the Harrier are well complemented by the blue BG. Well done!!
