Pose and sharpness look good but the flying-away pose and clipped wing hurt the image. I also wish there were no shadow on the neck and the branch underneath the bird were not there.

Good job catching the action. I like the drops of water trailing from the feet. I agree with what Axel said. If the bird is flying away from you then it is probably not worth pressing the shutter button.
