At time of this comment, 54 views, and Im the first to comment. I like the head on approach, and the side lighting has shown up the right eye nicely. Your pano works well Doug, and love the hint of the single droplet from the feet. Of coarse, the orange in the BG really adds to the image.

Great flight shot with the crane coming at you. The fall BG really adds to this image!

My first view and I love the head-on approach and pano presentation Doug! Awesome morning light too! So now you have a 600? Do you prefer this over the 500mm?

I love the color, (except along the top of the wings where I would suggest desaturating), pano comp, the symmetry in the splay of the wing tips, and the drop of water. Beautiful, Doug.

lovely dreamy colours here Doug, pin sharp as usual...exposure spot on...I might up the levels on the bird just a tad.

Great colors in this image. I notice this image has a tight crop and after studying some other images it seems to me that this one works with at tight crop since the crane is flying straight at the camera. What I am gathering is that if a bird is flying to the left or right in a frame, it is better to have more breathing room ahead of the bird. But since this one is flying straight ahead then it works to have the wings so close to the edge of the frame. Is that correct?
