Not sure if this will appeal to anyone, but I liked it:) I added alot of different lighting effects along w/ Color-efex, midnight filter. I took this image at Allaire State Park. It is an old tree w/ some really neat looking branches-just thought I'd see what I could do to it.

Looks like the tree could stand some arborist work, Denise! ;)

Like you say, interesting. Not for everyone, but interesting.

Interesting effect. This does feel like a starry night filter or something. I like it.

Love the treatment and I am particularly fond of old trees. ;)

Missed this one earlier D, like what you have down with the lighting and the other tree trunks in the BG look ominous, spooky looking!

a beautiful vision Denise....the intricacy keeps me looking for some critter's beady little eyes.
This is a candidate for Fractalius......and about 50 pts more saturation is also interesting.

    One of your best IMO

    Denise,
Electric! I like it! Lots of graphic appeal, and a nice bit of texture in the limbs. Creating order out of this much chaos is tricky, but you've done a great job of keeping my eyes in the frame with the lighting.

Thankyou all for your input. I walk past this tree every evening on my walk and wanted to capture what I see at night when I am there.
Dave, I did a couple of different effects and one w/ more saturation. I did like that one also. I don't have fractalius, but I will post the original for a re-create image. Maybe you could do that effect on it.;)
Chris, It's funny- I thought you would like this one.:)
