    Default Baboon crossing.

Baboons hate getting their feet wet.
Captured this image in conjunction with the Sable crossing images I submitted a few weeks ago here:
    http://www.birdphotographers.net/for...ad.php?t=48267
The sable were crossing west to east and the baboons the opposite direction, it was very comical to watch this baboon troop in their clumsy attempts to navigate this water channel!

Marc, Baboons never like to get wet at the best of times and this illustrates this very well. The image does look as if it has a slight yellow/green cast, but perhaps that's my laptop? it might be nice to see this in B/W perhaps?

Well done Marc. Only thing that might improve this is if you were more left and got a better frontal-side view. Great job capturing him over the water and good positions on the arms, legs and tail.

I am posting from a laptop in a car so limiting my review to the composition.

Hey Marc, cant forget this crossing with your Sable. Very well timed to capture the baboon in midair, and in the middle of the water.

Did he make it? Love the dof and the sharp focus on the subject along with the bank he jumped from and the bank where hopefully he ended up.

    Marc,

Quiet safari indeed!, a very good action capture, a better head angle would have taken this a lot further.

you sure had a great time at this channel :)
from his angle, approach and trajectory I would postulate that he eventually got more than his feet wet...

more like Logic 101...if you'd caught him at the launch of the jump it would be a Physics 101 equation ;):D
