Hi Desmond, This fits the theme just fine! I like the old photo look and I think the grain helps to bring that out. I think you have a good range of values and you could probably take a bit off the top and still keep that gradient look. Does it need a very slight rotation? Can you tell us a bit more about the image-Where it is? What you did to it?

Hi Desmond, Great job on this! Old photo looks are one of my favorite effects :). I'm curious to know what your workflow was for this. Like the dramatic cloud formation and very nice sepia tone and vignette.

Neat cloud formation Desmond, I would be interested in hearing more of the details as to where and your workflow.

    Nice image and application, Desmond.

You might want to run a noise reduction on it, but as this is OOTB, guess that could be considered part of the desired effect! ;)

Appears you used Dry Brush on it. Like others mentioned, would be nice to have the background and process noted. Otherwise, nice image.

Desmond, Does feel like alot of empty space up top-so I would maybe take some off as suggested. I like the noise it adds some age to the image.

This photo was taken with a D700 @ISO200 handheld with a 70-300 lens. Noise is practically non-existent. Noise that you see in this photo is part of the effect. Like many others, this is a color photo converted to monochrome. I first used channel mixer. Adjusted some contrast afterward. Then ran the file through SilverEfex pro for the noise and toning. Final step was sharpening.

This photo was taken at Boundary Bay, Delta, BC, looking north.

Thank you for the comments and suggestions !!
