You love those overcast days Bill, the background color against the white Egret are fantastic.

Initially I thought it was a tad tight but like it as presented, what a great image angle - sideways with open wings - well done.

Exposure techs are solid.

Hi - Overcast days rock for white birds - love the pose - head is angled a little away but can live with that. Head also looks just a tad soft on my screen - some additional sharpening might help.
BG is great and really makes MR Egret POP.

agree with al. a couple frames before would have been the ticket. the exposure and and detail in the whites is superb. nice job there!!
