Another image of the wild horses of Wyoming. In a perfect world I would love to have been able to capture them from the side so as to have captured both heads and eyes but this all took place so fast that I was happy to capture this. To see these wild stallions on their hind legs was a thrill !

This is a dramatic shot, Judy Lynn, with the manes flying and the animals rising up into the beautiful blue sky. The low angle really helps as it appears you were standing down hill a bit. Very unique image - color wise- due to some great lighting.

Very well timed Judy, and I would like to see this even larger.

    Hi Judy,
You captured the moment well. I love the glint of sun in the eye. And there is enough eye and eye lashes showing on the other stallion to make this work. I love the motion here. It tells the story well.

I like the position of the two stallions. Eyes are visible on both and the low angle and view from teh back gives you an idea of whatit might be like to be the smaller stallion in a fight like this. Flying manes give it some action.
