    This was taken just a second before the anhinga swallowed the fish. It took him all of about 40 seconds from the time he caught until he swallowed it. They are amazing to watch.

    Very nice intimate portrait of the anhinga. Great sharpness. If the fish was facing you it would have been over the top :-)

    Great plumage detail, and very nice capture. The fish looks great and adds a lot to the image.

    Love the detail capture Judy. Must agree this is a great image. The comp and BG work so well.
    Agree on the fish face but I would take this any day.

    Perfect timing Judy ,I know just how fast these Anahinga,s can catch and swallow a fish in a nano second ,beautiful and sharp image
