    reg nikon 300 can you comment in regards to the use of
    active d lighting in flight bird photography.would think it would be advantageous against
    a bright sky thanks

    I absolutely WOULD NOT use it.

    ADL does an exquisite job of showing noise in shadow areas.

    i 2nd jim i used it at first but after i did some testing with it i found it to bring out noise,

    Agree with above, plus it slows down your frame rate/processing.
