    Hi Folks,

This is my completed submission, processed as RAW, with only manipulation removing white (White Adobe building) to the right of bird. I did that by usung Robert O'Tooles Quick Mask tutorial. With no portion large enough to cover it, I took 3 passes a little at a time to cover the white, as it was a little blotchy I used Quick Mask to select complete area, and after creating new layer, I went to Gausian blur & evened it out, then as area was still selected, I went to Curves, and using back arrow I clicked it to lighten area to taste.

Am interested in what you have to say?

hi gus, i took a stab at this one. the bg looked noisy on my screen so i added some more gaussian blur. cropped a tick off the right side and the bottom. i dont have photoshop, but i may have added some canvas to the top bottom and side.

wish the bird had a better head angle, but i know it aint always possible.

Hi Gus you are reducing noise Would try same on a smaller crop Normally large crop inherit lots of problems

On your image the final pose looks good position wise Is just a bit much The bg I would like more even The lighter color to the right is not helping !!!!

    Great thread !!!!
