    I've capture this bird on a holliday in Curacao. It was a nice warm day en the eagle shows him self and his wife and kids a view times.

    Nice shot, I wish the head angle was separated from the far wing. You could try lightening the head a little and emphasizing the eye.

    Nice flight freeze and detail Willem. Looks like harsh shadows on the bird, might benefit from a hit of fill flash.

    The light angle was not to your advantage here. Preferable to have the sun lower and at your back. I like the feet tucked under the tail. I guess "Fish Eagle" is a local name for this species? We also know this one as "Osprey".

    I have a book dating to 1913 called "The First Book of Washington and Oregon Birds", and it lists 3 names for this bird; Fish Hawk (perferred), Fish Eagle or occasionally known as American Osprey. In the almost 100 years since that was published I'm willing to bet each was used as the perferred at one time or another.

    It is a nice flight capture, too bad the light (a bit harsh) and head position wasn't quite working with you. Still a nice crisp image.
