    Default Theme: Callanish Abstract

This image was a blend of two images.

    1: Scotland's Callanish Stone (Stonehenge's younger brother)
    2: Scotish sunset

I masked out background behind the stones that I didn't want, copied and pasted stones over sunset.
Used Cutout filter, then fotosketcher to paint....added frame.

Which one do you prefer, this one or the one below?

Paul, Your top image caught my eye immediately. Truly a work of art! I like the strong colors, the composition and the texture. My new favorite of yours!

    Nice image and application, Paul.

I like both for their own image. I favor the first however, for the colors ... Being a color loving person myself. ;)

I like the second Paul:), just for the texture and more definition on the rocks. Could you add the coloured sun back in. That would make it really nice IMO.

Paul - the first is my favorite - I really love the colors and abstract feel to it. It has an American Southwest
    look to it.

    Thank You All...

Jackie....I am trying to color the sun (a work in progress), basically had to restart from scratch but left my zip drive at home tonite.
I really liked your idea, of leaving the rocks dark and coloring the sun. I went one step further and colored the whole background with a moonlit sky image, I had on my laptop.
    I reworked image from start.

I was all prepared to discuss why I liked the first one best and then I saw the last one and was totally blown away. It is just beautiful. I still like the abstract flavor of the first, but the last one is truly stunning.
