    A gray bearded, groundhog pokes its head out of an old Locust Tree at Whiteside Conservation Area in Missouri.

    Hi Danny,
    Like the peek-a-boo look here. Nice job on the the exposure of the light and dark fur. The long OOF branches at the bottom make me want to go with more of a pano crop. I think if that wasn't there, I'd keep your chosen comp.

    Steve has covered it all. Excellent exposure and detail and I really like the composition. IMO I would crop a tad off the left to exclude the small branches otherwise I like it as posted. Very lovely capture Danny !!

    Really like the head peeking out and the eye contact. Nice low angle as well.

    Excellent shot Danny. Really love the way this pops out, quite literally. Tack sharp where needed. Can see some crop choices as mentioned, but like as you presented too.
