Thanksgiving is around the corner for some of us so I'm posting an image of an Eastern Wild Turkey taken on our farm here in Missouri during the spring season this year. Its an ugly critter that is hard to approach in the wild. The white cap is a bit hot and I clipped the beard a little short but......oh well....hope you enjoy anyway.

Hey Danny... great detail and overall tone of this image, which looks great against that sweet background. Only thought I have is to possibly add room top and left if you have it in the original. Nice work.

Impressive bird with amazing feather textures. Top of the head looks blown and the image generally looks on the bright side - might be worth reprocessing with a bit of minus exposure/recovery to see if it looks any different.

Very nice image Danny. Your self critique is right on. For those who have never been up close to one of these in the wild, they indeed are full of colors. The head colors can change in an instance from white, to red, to blue, to a mixture...very amazing. When the top of the head goes brilliant white, I can understand how easy it would be to blow that out! TFS.

Very interesting looking bird. I like the detail in all of the cascading feathers. Dave

Hey Danny, what incredible colours and detail on this guy. I agree with Tony, toning down a touch, together with the BG, will make this really pop. Thanks for sharing.
