    Hi everyone!

    This one created a while ago in my hometown.
    The light was fading and I don't like pushing my 1000D beyond ISO 800, so had to make due with some motion blur. The head and eye are sharp so I guess that's what matters...

    Techs:
    Canon 1000D with 100-400mm L IS USM
    f7.1 @ 1/500 SS @ ISO-800
    Exp +0.3

    What a great pose on this capture. Love the intense look of the bird and the extended legs. The exposure and sharpness looks good. I like the movement in the wings but would have preferred sharp feet. You have great details in the whites here.

    Morkel;

    Well done. Soft light, fine pose, nice exposure.

    The only wish from a comp. standpoint would have been to have the perch material in the lower right to balance the weight of the bird a bit, but very nice as is.

    Randy I hear what you're saying about a balanced comp...nothing to do about it now :)

    I like the warmer afternoon light, together with the landing pose. You have captured some good underwing detail too. Well done mate.
