Suggestion Box
I was wondering if any of you had any suggestions for Themes. Anything you would like to try or have an interest in. Please keep in mind that they should be nature-based. If we get a few people interested in your suggestion then we'll put it up on the board.
Also if anyone is interested in judging any of the upcoming themes please let me know. I need someone for the Patterns Theme that is coming up.:)

Dont know whether suits or not but street photography can be great theme
Harshad, Sounds like a great idea. I will have to get permission as it is not nature based. But it won't hurt to ask!! Could be lots of fun. Let's see if others agree.
Harshad's idea got me thinking that "nature in the city," elements of nature found in urban environments, might be a good nature-based variant on street photography. Just a thought.
"Old photos," giving photos an old, vintage feel, would be a good theme too.
Good ideas Christopher, There seems to be alot of interest in the "old photo" style.
Like the "old photo" idea. What about something with in-camera only effects?

How about where we must use 2 images to make one. One must be a bird/wildlife/nature and the second can be any image. This would be an exercise in layer opacities and blending modes....but anything goes
Dave, That's a good idea. I like the use of blending modes and layer opacities. Fabs posted a good Tutorial on blending modes. Let's see if anyone else agrees and then we will put it on the board.
Aww yeah, love the in camera only effects idea. Could involve mirrors, glass, flash, etc. Excellent idea. Count me in for sure. The head is doing overtime already :)
