    Default Gyr Falcon (c)

    Attached Images Attached Images

    D300 / 200-400 VR @ 400mm
    1/1600 sec, f4, iso 320
Hand held, natural light, slight crop.
cloned the jesses, reduced noise on the bg.

Taken at a recent workshop Nov21st, 2009 near Amherst Mass.

Not sure about the crop again, I do not like the eye so close to the center of the frame.

    Thanks for looking.

    Hi!

nice and sharp against a great BG that really makes it pop...I like the corner-to-corner wingtips and think you can probably get the eye away from the centre by adding some canvas to the right and on top.

    Hi,
Nice shot- good HA and details are great and nice light as well. I was wondering what the upperside of this bird looked like? so you have any other photos?

Hi Raymond: I have really enjoyed viewing your captures of the last couple of weeks and the same applies to this one. The bird really pops off the monitor. I would move the bird a bit more to the left and/or add a bit of canvas to the right to keep it out of the middle.
