Good sharpness, angle and head angle(s). I find the perch a bit overpowering and wish for a smaller one in case this is a setup.

I like the soft light and warm colours Gerrie, and thats a fair size catch for the giant. Well captured.

Thank you for viewing & commenting Dave, Axel & Stu. It is much appreciated.

The perch is natural Axel. Photographers that are familiar with the Mankwe hide, like Stuart, Hendri, Jan & Loukie will immediately recognize the perch as one of the branches of a large dead tree in front of the hide.

Too bad it chose such a big perch, but great catch by both you and the KF. Always a bonus and much more powerful when the catch is facing us! I would actually darken the pupil of the fish.

Beautiful male, Gerrie. HA and catch really great. I like the way the low warm light is even illuminating inside his mouth. May be an option to reduce some of the specular highlights on the bill. I would probably remove the lower of the 2 catchlights in the eye. If this were mine, I would have a big print on the wall - great job.
