    Default Theme: Semi in the Snow

    I added one of my lighting techniques and some snow and a flake. I was trying to get a sand/snow soft notecard look to this little Semipalmated Plover.

    Love the palette D and the simplicity of the design. I wonder if you backed off on the sandstone texture a bit it would be less competing with the snow, my .02 anyways. Like the plover tucked in behind the sandhill, has a peaceful feeling to it in general.

    I love this series you have of the shorebirds in the snow/sand. Each one has its own appeal. I love the little bird partially hidden in the "snow".

    Only birders will expect this image from that title. :)

    Not too shabby at all, Denise! Actually, I think it is superb! And the eye w/ catchlight... a delightful touch. You keep this up and the next thing you know, you'll be doing workshops and stuff! :D

    another really nice piece of work.....very creative.
