    This is an old P&S image I picked to play with.
    Ran through Topaz Adjust watercolor and a few other small enhancements.
    Applied as a new layer over a gradient base(see below) and set blend mode to multiply.
    Tweaked from there.

    Dave, Super look you achieved! I love the gradient color BG and the blur creates a beautiful softness. Colors rock! Thanks for the step by step!

    Very beautiful Dave, looks like there is a candle inside it. Perfect gradient. Love the feel of this one.

    The glow in this one is quite magical- thanks for sharing the process. I like the comp too- really special. :)

    Michael, this was a default gradient in PS pastels palette

    Beautiful image, Dave! Love the colors and effect. Might be a little tight on the top, but that's relatively minor. Well done!
