    STL Bighorn and Winter wildlife, AB '09

    Just back from photographing the bighorn rut in Alberta; photographing wildlife in winter is among my favorite.
    On one afternoon we had over 50 sheep present, it was crazy.

    1Ds Mark III, 70-200
    Manual, exposure based on spot off snow +2 EV, 1/500 @ f13, ISO 400
    Post-production-LR3, CS4

    Hi Charles a 'pano crop' I think might emphasis the image more. Not sure where its taken, but to me it looks like Bow river, Banff, but guess I am totally wrong ;-(

    Really like how you have a clear view of each rams head and I love the mountains in the background as well.

    Charles I just love it!!! The BG with that grouping is just right. I cannot wait for in a few weeks I will be with Dale Franz in Cody, WY photographing the same subject.
