    This shot was taken in Moronis Sea in Greece last winter
    Crop at the bottom and little canvas at the top
    Canon 30 D Canon EF 100-400mm at 400mm
    1/800 f 5.6 iso 640

    Hi Manos,

    Interesting action in this image. I like the low angle and edge of the wave too. I think it could go a bit brighter. The head of the upper bird seems just a bit soft. Perhaps some selective USM on just the head would fix that.

    Great interaction and poses. I agree on sharpening the head of the gull in flight. It might work as vertical crop, too.

    For a vertical, if you have, maybe a bit more space top and bottom to make it a rectangular rather than square.

    Lovely photograph. The interaction is what makes it interesting. Of the two I prefer the vertical crop.

    Really nice action and love the pose on the bottom bird. Yes, a little soft on the bird in flights head, I like the original crop for this.
