Jan, this is a fabulous shot and great pose. Trouble is as presented is soft. Knowing you have "it" and there is more there, just thought to post it with some sharpening applied to the KF only. Hope don't mind, but knowing this is a jewel don't want it to be missed. (Appreciate I have left halos between the beaks, and some noise showing on the wing, but presented to show the potential your image has, not my skills with ps, so have left as is.)

Pretty amazing David. I agree this is a neat shot that is worth fixing up. Neat pose and perch.

Super colours, pose, perch, BG. I hope the original is sharply focussed as this could be a stunner.

Cool-looking bird and more sharpening takes it to another level. I like the repost but would sharpen the tip of the far wing less since it brought out some artifacts.

Pretty neat pose, excellent timing. David's repost shows how much potential this image has. Dilemma: I kinda wish the top branch tip didn't extend so high - I'd like less room above but at the same time wouldn't want to cut that tip out.

Great action shot Jan! I agree on additional sharpening work. Excellent diving pose. Comp works well with perch.

    Cheers!
