This image was taken at Lion Country Safari a few years ago. I felt it was fitting for this theme, as modified.

Modifications included Ink Outline, Lighting Effect and additional elements for the season.

    Enjoy!

Nicely done Mark. I like the garland border and the red/white and blue round lights on the Charlie Brown tree.

A very unusual card! I think it works well- it looks festive and inviting. :)

another creative "nature vision" Mark....the bg star element is a bit too central for my taste,
but of nice design for sure

Mark, I like the bold colors you chose. I also like the unique way you have found to represent the star that many of us have been adding to our holiday cards. This one is special.

Thanks all for viewing and comments. Appreciate it. It's been a fun week.

Dave, the "star" (in this case our closest one ... the sun) chose the position of placement. I would have preferred off center as well. But, will also take what is offered! Sometimes it works too. ;) But appreciate your comment.

The garland border, along with the tree & missletoe rope in the chimp card, were created with the specialty brush in PS. It does two colors at once (from the chosen foreground and background colors) and after trying it, I liked the effect. Just found the brush when searching for this theme.

Nice job on this one Mark. I like the tree you picked. It's a bit funky.
