Combined a shots of Snow Geese crossing the moon at Sacramento NWR with a shot of some redwoods taken in my front yard. Applied some filters. I can't recall which to the redwoods and then I used the brush tool to make the stars.

I might have straightened the tree below the moon a little. Know it is probably the effect, but it is just slightly distracting.
The word "majestic" comes to mind- a real sense of wonder and beauty conveyed. The deep blue is perfect for the composition. Yes. I might agree that the stars could be more varied....but this a stylized piece, so they work this way too.
