    Manos:

    Very soft, effective back lighting, complimentary colors.

    I might consider moving the bird a bit to the left in the frame. I wish there was at least a little backlighting on the head area, just to add that last bit of interest.

    Manos....very very artsy. Loved the pose. I liked the fact that it is not a pure silhouette. Having said that, a little boost in contrast might make it even more powerful.

    I really like the pose and thought of the photo. My preference would also be for a slight move of bird to the left. Very nice. Dave

    Interesting preening pose Manos, and good to see the backlighting through the wing. I agree moving the egret to the left will round this image off nicely.

    I agree the repost improves the comp alot. Love the light seeping through the feathers - very nice.
