Great detail and super job with the exposure! The perch is nice, but I'd remove the white stuff to the right of the bird. Nice BG too. I might place the bird a little higher in the frame.

    Mital:

I agree with Doug. Nice techs, would either move bird up or down, depending on which portion of the BG you prefer, but I would favor moving him higher also (per Doug). for my tastes, would crop off about 20% of the free space above.

    Cheers

Stunning image. I agree that a slight crop to move the bird down in the frame would be nice and reduce the amount of space to the left of the bird. The perch is terrific.

Striking subjec with excellent exposure and sharpness.

    Agree with Doug as well.

Have you tried this as a horizontal crop?

I like the angle, sharpness, eye contact, perch and BG. Another vote for putting the bird higher in the frame or alternatively, a horizontal crop.

Moving the bird higher in the frame would really take this image up another notch. Nice pose, perch (I agree about removing some of the white stuff though), and BG. A halo below the branch at left could be easily eliminated.

Beautiful bird captured in an excellent way! I feel the composition is not balanced - happy to re-post it with your permission.

Here it is Mital - cropped, some levels, colour saturation and contrast.

Would love to hear your thoughts.

this is really gr8 crop and enlarged version Ofer..

sometimes you know i am getting afraid of losing quality while cropping and enlargement.

but you did really well with the balance of top and bottom and cropping form side ways.

thanks a lot for the new dimension.

Lovely shot Mital. Love the head angle and IQ. Killer bg. Don't mind the white bits as part of nature. Like the repost, but OP was cool anyway. Could see a landscape crop there too. Fine work.

Sweet image Mital. Love the perch pose and BG. Ofer post takes it up a notch imo.
