clipped the tail, so i went tight with the crop, looks a little center to me, but
somtimes this works?, a little burn added to the whites.

Great capture, Raymond! The image quality looks very good even with the 1.7x TC. I would crop a little tighter from the upper right corner to de-center the main subject. Wish the fish's eye(s) were visible.

Nice eye contact and sharpness, wish the tail was not clipped, I would crop tighter to emphasize more on the head and detail of the catch and draw attention from the missing tail. fish is a plus. TFS

Nice catch Raymond, Good save with the cropping idea. Great job getting the details in the blacks while keeping the whites good. Fish is an added bonus, too bad he wasn't facing us. I'd get rid of some from the right and stretch the left out a little. Congrats
