    Good exposure and interesting BG. Too tight of a crop for me and wish he was coming at us instead of away. You sure did get plenty of detail in the shaded under wing though.

    Nice and sharp, nice wing position and nesting material is great, Stuart. As Brian points out, the going away direction is a bit of a killer and it would be nice to have room in the comp for the heron to move into.
