    taken in march of 2007 at wakodahatchee. it's a heck of a crop to get it where i wanted it. reworked today in Ps. tell me what you think.

    D50, 50-500 at 500mm, f/10, 1/400s, 0EV, ISO 400, flash fill with better beamer.

    Harold: Interesting perspective. Exposure looks spot-on. Feather detail is superb!

    hi Harold this is a verry good image , i like the contact eyes in the camera , details and colors looks good too. maybe a little bit of saturation ? not sure , lets see what the moderators says... well done good work ..

    Nice pose here, I like that the beak is almost 100% perpendicular to the sensor, it feels like it is coming out of the screen!

    HI Mr H - exposure looks good as does the PP work - might just sharpen the eyes a tad.
    Love the details in the feathers and the straight down the barrell stare.
    Good show :)

    Love the in your face stare, the feather details, and the wind blown feather on top of the head. Good sharpness and nice exposure too, TFS.

    Hi Harold - Nice DOF to get so much of this bird in focus. Everything looks spot on to me. Everytime I look at this image, I just grin. It is such an comical perspective.
