Uncle Gus, Fabulous! I love everything about it. The soft color palette and the embroidered fabric are wonderful. Lee did a great job w/ that. Very nice collaboration!

The soft, subtle colors really appeal to me here - very tranquil. Beautifully done!

    Hi Folks

This version of the same card has a history. A couple of years ago I photographed Lee's embroidery and used it to create a Janim Lake Applet (Java) http://unclegus.150m.com/!Janim_Beta/lee.htm added 2 dreamcatchers and a border. Then put it together so a lake rippled at the bottom and the dream catchers moved up & down each side in opposite directions,

I opened it a few minutes ago and captured the movements with both dream catchers on both sides. Then I took it into CS4, optomized it lightly and added the text.

To view applet if asked to install Java, click Yes, it will not harm your system

    Hope you like it.

    Hi Dave

    Thanks for the kind words.

I haven't done any Lake applets for a few years, but have kept a bunch on my website. I was the first one to post David Griffiths lake applets on Stationery ng's, and finally Roger Dillion asked me to help him with his Janim applets http://www.janim.com/ , much better than any others and stuck around for a couple years to help develop them up to 3.16.

When I got into my 80's, circa 'oo I gave it up and started playing with photographing birds . . . .Still like applets and stationery.

    Keep up the good work

    Gus
