    Default Hanging in there

I photographed this Bald Eagle at Conowingo the other day, I liked the dangling feet in this one.

Love ethe pantallons and the sharp talons showing, Great compo, EXP and clouds add a nice touch.

Great pose, Axel. Amazing how long the legs are. Typical intense expression and sky makes a great BG.

These eagles certainly look like they have powerful legs, and how are those talons. Nicely comped, and always good to see a hint of cloud in a sky BG. Well captured.

Axel: Nice to see the different pose. The hints of clouds are a nice background too. Was this one going fishing and dropped the legs before going into the strike pose?

Would it be possible to lighten the underwing a bit?

Thanks, Linda! Yes, he was about to go fishing, it's fun to watch them when they look for food. I already lightened the underwing and didn't want to bring out noise.
