    Default Theme: Blue Christmas

This one started off w/ lots of color shifts. I added snowflakes w/ the brush tool and different intervals of zoom blur. Not your typical Christmas card. I am very interested in your comments.:)

    Denise,

This has loads of visual impact. Like the forced diagonal, colors and blur effect.
    Thanks for sharing...

    Nice image and application, Denise.

One thing I would suggest is to evict or modify the dark line at the TC of the image. Does not fit the rest of the lines, IMHO, as to contrast with the BG. But,

    Your image ... your vision.

I love what I'm seeing as far as colors and the zoom blurs. I like the text and I think it fits. I like the title - Blue Christmas.

But, I'm having trouble relating the blue leaf to Christmas. Maybe if it was from a pine tree or something that looked like a Christmas tree? I dunno.

I think without the text and the snowflakes, this would stand alone as a beautiful creation.

Patti, You are right, the leaf has no connection to Christmas.:) I started messing around with it and it started to have a Christmas mood-so I went with the flow and added more snow and snowflakes- I guess if you think about it non of my main subjects in any of the cards that I have designed for this theme have a connection to Christmas:eek:

I think I will consider your idea to let it stand alone w/o the text and snowflakes-Thanks. I wasn't completely sold on it either.

I think Patti hit it on the nose...love the effects, colors...I wonder what it would be like if you used a Holly Leaf....

Like the holly, but I think they are both valid. If the one with the blue leaf is the one you like I'd go with that!

love the repost, but also like the original verrrrrrry much.
I might make a big skowflake as main focus point......and might add interest to give those flakes a bit of
    tilt/rotation.

The repost is much like one of those cards with the glitter

Thanks Jackie and Dave. I appreciate the feedback very much. Good idea to tilt or rotate the flakes-I guess I could warp them also-Will try to do a remake of this idea.
