Inspired by the wonderful harrier shots of others I went to a local swamp in the hope of snapping the resident pair. No such luck but did get a couple of ibis. The big bonus was finding a colony of about 50 pairs of Whiskered Terns with their little floating nests. Fingers crossed for a couple of weeks time.

Pretty neat shot Rob. Good light, eye contact and head angle and good details in the whites. Nicely done.

Nice xposure against the sky, like the sharpness and flight angle.

I like the light, sharpness and eye contact and wish for a lower angle and the wings to be up or down.

Rob, your Australian Ibis looks just like our African sacred Ibis. Exposure spot on, with both the whites and the black head. Well done.
