Great idea Desmond Love the feel !!!
Craig if you have more room at the right might use it so the entire circle is visible ... a good framing option (while making the image) would be placing the duck on the UR corner, little less than an inch to the corner.
I like the bird environmental images and find them much more difficult than just isolating !!! Great !!!
Hi - like desmonds repost - agree with AL - much harder to get a good composition including the enviroment - but when you do get it :) :)
cool idea, desond!! i like the repost too. number of possibilities. as is, i would clean up the right center frame edge. what ever that D shaped thing is right of the grass blade. nice idea here. i like it!
Hi Desmond, I like how you warmed up the image. how did you do it? My PS skills are limited. I need to focus more on the main subject placement, I just get to excited like buck fever. Thanks for the other good suggestions.
Actually, I used ColorEfex Pro. I just played around with the fliters there and looked for the one that gave me the look I wanted ;)
But, I think it can also be done simply using Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. ColorEfex Pro just make things easy. To colorize/tone the photo, you can use "Photo Filter" or "Hue/Sarturation". Then you can use mask, brush, and adjust opacity to get the color gradations you want. When I first looked at your photo, first thing that came to my mind was I wanted to see some fog in the photo, like what you may see in a foggy morning. For that you can use Gaussian blur as a start. Generally speaking, if you want to darken an image, you can change the blend mode to "multiply". If you want to brighten it, use blend mode "Screen". You use mask, brush and adjust opacity to get the results - where you want darken/brighten and how much - you want.
Hope this helps !
Thanks, it helps alot.
Nice repost.
