    Default Incoming Brown Pelican!

Photographed this Brown Pelican while he/she was landing on a mangrove packed with birds. Decided to leave in the two birds to add to the authenticity of the environment. Liked the way the setting sun was hitting the BP and the movement in his wings. Hope you like it too.

I like the light, BG and landing pose. Since the bird in the lower right is OOF, I might consider removing it.

Well timed for the landing Marina, and I like the inclusion of his friends.

Nice inclusion of the mangroves. Good job on the exposure and you timed the incoming nicely. Would selectively sharpen his head a tad more. I don't mind the oof pelican as he is just a supporting player and helps to balance the image.

Although I wish the OOF pelican was not OOF I do find it an important balancing factor to the comp. If you get rid of it you must also get rid of the other one to rebalance the image...I much prefer their inclusion - glad you kept them there! :-) I like the tiny hint of clouds apparent in the BG.

P.S. Interesting differences in eye colour...
